WATER SKIING

Camp Mac has been a member of USA Water Ski for over 45 years and offers a specialized Camp Ski Program with Skiing Award Patches from 3rd Class through Expert. Campers must first pass a swimming test in the pool in order to take Skiing, which is available to all campers at no extra charge. With 11 instructors and 3 ski boats on 2 private lakes, each boy and girl gets to ski every other day throughout the entire term. Each summer over 100 campers learn to ski for the first time here “Among the Pines”! Needless to say, Skiing is an exciting challenge for young and old campers alike! Who will ever forget that first ride on the kneeboard; that first time across the wake on the slalom; that first attempt at getting up backwards on the trick skis; or that first bust trying to dock-start on one?!
