Ever wish there was a place somewhere that you could go and just play with your friends all day long?
Well, you can stop wishing! There is a place like that! It’s called summer camp! And it’s just for kids!
At Camp Mac, it’s you, your counselors, a whole bunch of other campers and over 100 different really cool things for you to do – from A to Z (Archery to Zip Lines)! You can learn to ride a wakeboard or lope a horse through the woods or drive a ski boat or rappel down a cliff or climb a mountain!
At Camp Mac, we believe that good things take time. Our sessions are longer because there’s no way we could ever get everything done in just a week or so! Younger kids come to camp for two weeks just to see what it’s like. Older kids stay for four weeks so they can learn to do things, make friends, make their own decisions, and gain the independence and self-confidence they’ll need to go off to college one day and then out into a happy and successful life of their own.
Parents tell us that a summer at Camp Mac is the best gift they’ve ever given their child. Jonas Salk once said that good parents give their children two things: Roots and Wings. Roots to know where home is, wings to fly away and exercise what's been taught them. (Read More...)
