While many new campers start with the Jr. Term, campers may select any term according to their age/grade, about 80% of our campers in our Sr. Terms are returning campers, many of whom return year after year.
The extra time in our longer terms allows for the development of self-confidence, independence, maturity and long-lasting friendships that are some of the most important reasons for going to camp in the first place. A summer at camp offers opportunities for growth and development that cannot be duplicated at school or at home.
With the benefit of three generations of experience, we have developed a unique camp program that is both fun and challenging. We are committed to camping and, for 63 years the McBride family has seen what a quality camping experience can do for young people.
It is our desire to make this experience available to boys and girls who are also committed to camping and who are excited about the opportunities Camp Mac has to offer.
