------------------------------------------------------------ Option 1: No electronic devices of any kind allowed at camp. Digital cameras allowed, but no gaming devices, music or video players, communication devices of any kind. Kids would be completely unplugged and untethered to technology. Could focus on being at camp in the real world, outside, playing real games and making friends without clicking a mouse or tapping a screen. ------------------------------------------------------------ Option 2: Music-only devices - no video screens allowed. No Wi-Fi or cellular devices. Would allow music devices such as iPod Shuffles and CD "Walkmans" which are relatively inexpensive. Some campers relax by listening to music and may have become dependent on these items to rest or go to sleep. ------------------------------------------------------------ Option 3: Allow most electronic devices with video screens as long as games and videos are removed prior to arrival at camp. No Wi-Fi or cellular devices, such as the iPod Touch. Parents would be responsible for removing all games and videos prior to camp. Any devices with videos and/or games installed would be taken up by the Head Counselors and returned at the end of the term. ------------------------------------------------------------ |
